PLAYER AGREEMENTS

Expectations of Players

  • Turn up on time ready to play in Squad jersey, shin guards, socks and soccer boots

  • Attentive and respectful listening to the Coach

  • Considerate and supportive behaviour towards other players

  • A can-do attitude, ready to learn and play

Appropriate Behaviour Sequence

This is a sequence of steps a coach will take if a player is being disruptive during sessions. This will apply to behaviour such as:

  • Repeatedly not responding to Coach instructions

  • Swearing, name calling

  • Yelling inappropriately

  • Physical contact, hitting, kicking, pushing, biting etc

  • Bullying in any way

The following sequence is put in place to ensure that all players feel safe, have an enjoyable experience and are able to make the most of every session; phases will progress each time a player is disruptive after action from the coach has been taken.

  1. Step 1. Initially the Coach will ensure the player is aware of the instructions and clearly ask the player to modify their behaviour.

  2. Step 2. The Player will be asked to sit out for at least 5 minutes of the training and until they agree to behave appropriately.

  3. Step 3. The Player will be asked to sit out for a further 5 minutes of the training and until they agree to behave appropriately.

  4. Step 4. After this training session parents will be called or emailed in regard to their players behaviour and parents will be asked to attend the next session and watch from the sideline in order to monitor player behaviour.

  5. Step 5. If behaviour doesn’t improve appropriately the Player will be removed from the program with no refund.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Session Cancellation and Changes
Hollier Sports is committed to providing high-quality soccer programs and prioritises the safety and experience of all participants. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any of our programs at any time for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, safety concerns, or insufficient enrolment.

  • Weather Cancellations: If a program is cancelled due to bad weather (lightening, hail, weather warnings) a rescheduled class will be planned. If a rescheduled time is not possible then participants will receive a credit equivalent to the value of the cancelled session, which can be applied to the next scheduled program. This can be applied for the following term.

  • Program Extension/Make Up Sessions: If a program is cancelled due to bad weather (lightening, hail, weather warnings) Hollier Sports may extend the duration of the program by adding an extra day or afternoon session to complete the requisite hours of instruction if sessions are disrupted by inclement weather.

  • Attendance on Bad Weather Days: Participants are required to attend the designated venue each day, regardless of weather forecasts. Hollier Sports will make the final decision on program commencement, postponement, rescheduling or cancellation on the day of the session.

  • Venue Changes: In the event of adverse weather conditions, Hollier Sports reserves the right to change the location of the program to ensure the safety and continuity of the session.

  1. For ONE-ON-ONE sessions the parent or guardian must give Hollier Sports at least 24 hours notice (In advance) for a session cancellation. It will then be Hollier Sports decision to re-schedule a makeup session at a different time or issue a refund. If the session is cancelled within 24 hours of its commencement the payment will still go towards the session.

School Holiday Program Refunds
Our school holiday program is a special offering, running for 3 days in a row with each session lasting 3 hours. Due to the limited number of spots available and the cost to run this program, refunds for this program are handled as follows:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel at least 7 days before the program starts, you will receive a full refund.

  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the program starts are not eligible for a refund.

  • Places are transferable. If your child cannot attend at the last minute you are able to transfer the spot to another child up to 24 hours before the program starts.

Refunds

Refunds are granted under specific circumstances and are subject to certain conditions:

  • Cancellations: We offer a structured refund policy to ensure that families feel comfortable with their investment in our programs. If a player decides to withdraw from a group class before the term starts, you must provide 7 days written notice so that we may have an opportunity to replace your spot. In this case, we will provide a full refund. After the term has begun, refunds are prorated based on the number of sessions attended. Any fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Disruptive Behaviour: If a player is removed from a program due to disruptive behaviour, as outlined in our Disrupting Behaviour Sequence, there will be no refund for any part of the program fee.

  • No Partial Refunds: Once a day’s session has commenced, no partial refunds will be issued for that day.

  • Refund Eligibility and Discretion: Refunds are granted at the discretion of Hollier Sports. We strive to handle each request with fairness based on the circumstances.

    Refund Processing Fee:

  • All refunds are subject to a processing fee, which covers administrative and other associated costs. The exact fee will be detailed at the time of the refund request.
