Welcome to our After School Soccer program, designed to develop young players in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. This program focuses on the basic fundamentals of football, skill enhancement, and sportsmanship. We aim to ensure each session is not only educational but also fun, making it the perfect after-school activity for any young football enthusiast.

Our After School Soccer program, is a dynamic and fun alternative to traditional after-school care. Designed to engage young players in learning the basics of football, enhancing skills, and practicing sportsmanship, our program combines physical activity with the joy of the game in a supportive environment.

Our experienced coaches are dedicated to fostering a setting where enjoyment and skill development go hand in hand, ensuring that each session not only improves football abilities but also keeps children active and engaged after school hours.

JUNIOR AND SENIOR SESSIONS

Garran Juniors (K - 2)

Sessions start in Week 1 (15th October) Come and join us!

Session information:

Term 3 : Weeks 1-10
Time: 3:00pm-4:30pm Tuesdays
Location: Garran Primary
Price: $270 Inclusive of GST
Meeting Place (3:00pm): The Junior Courtyard
Parent Pick Up (4:30pm): Turning circle

A wet weather plan is in place. No sessions will be cancelled.

Please ensure your player has brought an afternoon tea snack. They will have an opportunity to eat between 3:00-3:30.

Garran Seniors (3 - 6)

Sessions start in Week 1 (17th October) Come and join us!

Time: 3:00pm-4:30pm Thursdays
Location: Garran Primary

Meeting Place (3:00pm): The Flagpoles (where they used to be!)
Parent Pick Up (4:30pm): Turning circle

ENROL NOW SENIORS (YEARS 3-6)

After School sessions focus on:
- Basic fundamentals of the game
- Skills development
- Sportsmanship
- Most importantly, FUN!
Any skill level can join. This is not a high intensity session. If you are looking for more technical coaching have a look at our Development Classes that run on Monday afternoon/evening.
Sessions will take place on the back of the School Paterson Soccer Field and the Garran Oval behind the hall.
Our qualified coaches will meet the students at a designated meeting point at school, facilitate snacks and drinks and then escort the group to the field for the soccer activities.
Students are then escorted back to the school turning circle for pick up at 4:30pm or dropped off to after school care as arranged. Please let us know if your child needs to be signed into after schoolcare after our sessions.
Dress code for program?
School uniform and sneakers (No need for specific soccer gear).
Afternoon snack?
Players will be given supervised time between 3:00-3:30pm to rest and eat before our session commences. Players should bring their own snack.
Keeping track of our players?
Before the session begins Coach will mark the roll. After the roll, every player will receive a Hollier Sports bib to wear. This bib has a number that corresponds to our roll.
My child has never played soccer before?
That is completely fine! Every players journey starts in a different place; Hollier Sports is grateful to be the starting point for many players football journey. This session is open for all skill levels.
