Behaviour Expectations at Hollier Sports
At Hollier Sports, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all players can have fun, grow in confidence, and enjoy their football experience. In order to maintain this positive atmosphere, we follow a clear and consistent behaviour management system.
We understand that all children are learning and growing, and we are here to guide them. However, if a player is repeatedly disruptive or creates an unsafe environment for others, we have a structured process in place to support positive behaviour and ensure the wellbeing of the group.
Our System:
Verbal Warning: A coach will have a private chat with the player to remind them of expectations and offer a chance to reset.
Yellow Card: If the behaviour continues after a verbal warning in the same session, a yellow card may be issued. This includes a short sit-out period and follow-up communication with parents.
Second Yellow Card: A second yellow card results in a final warning, and the player will be required to miss the next session or have a parent/guardian attend and supervise.
Red Card: A red card means removal from the program, with no refund. Red cards may also be issued immediately for serious incidents (e.g. intentional physical harm).
At every step, we are here to support our players. We will always contact parents to communicate what occurred and work together to find solutions. We want every child to be excited for soccer each week—and for our program to be a place where they feel safe, included, and supported.
If you ever have concerns or ideas to help your player thrive, please reach out. We’re in this together.
